Well, things have been hectic lately for many reasons. I was offline for a week or so, just having a ton of issues and things that I'd rather not discuss. Basically I was muchly depressed and my mom almost died and uhhh....lots of weird crazy junk like that.

But... its fine now. La lalala.

My dad took me shopping the other day for school stuff. We went to office depot and got pens and such. I got a graphing calculator for only $90 so that was a great deal. Then we went to walmart and I got some of those plastic drawer tower things, as well as clothes, shampoo (my fav shampoo was on sale so I stocked up), and other daily living on my own type needs.

The one special thing I bought was a little convection oven! It is covection/ bake/ broil/ rotisserie and comes with all sort of extra bits. It's very big so I can actually bake 2 big horses in there.

That shopping trip was sort of an uplift to the crap that was going on, so when we got home I was in a decent mood. So, I whipped up a horse to bake and put him in. I noticed the oven only went up to 240 degrees, so put it in for 210 just to be safe. Then I went upstairs to check some things.

So I'm sitting looking through my university stuff, and found out that I was way late to register for frosh week. Now, frosh week is basically a group of people running around playing in the mud and cheering and such for a week, and is lame. But still.

Then I read specifically that we are not allowed to have appliances of any kind. I thought we could have whatever, but we had to keep them in the common room, but maybe that was another university. SO I am not allowed to have an oven on campus. An oven I just bought.

So I was sitting there getting pissed off, and my mom yells up that my sculpt is ON FIRE. So I run downstairs and unplug the oven, and look at it, seeing that its back has huge black bubbles and its legs are massive...and omg.

So then I'm really pissed, since not only am I now not allowed to have the oven, but it doesn't work right (it is a food oven, right?)

So the sculpt is dead, I tried to cut the bubbles off but the clay underneath was like aero chocolate (tiny bubbles) and I'd have to redo the entire thing and it was pointless.

THEN I look at the oven to make sure the dials were on the right thing, and I saw, to my annoyance, a little "C" beside the temperature. I believed I yelled "goddamn canadian garbage!" or something similar. SOOOO...I thought it was in farenheit, but it was in celsius. SO basically I roasted it on like 420 degrees. Oops.

In short, the oven works amazingly. The sculpey doesn't darken at all and is much harder and shinier with the convection oven. To combat the shitty university rules, I decided to make a whole crapload of sculpts, then I will paint and hair them whilst at university. Then on weekends when I go home or christmas or whatever I can make more. Chances are I'll be busy as hell anyways.

So that is where I've been. Life is good. I'm moving on sunday, and packing sucks.

So far, I've made like 12 horses and 3 fairies. I have a lying down horse, an orca horse (I watched free willy) and a few kirins. I'm having fun, haha. (and I am making the fairies from super sculpey since the finish is better, my prosculpt still isn't here)

I still don't have internet, but I plan to do tons of ebay listings once I get to university. I don't have space for much, hehe
