Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

new sculpting projects galore

News and Fun Happenings

It's like 4am but I felt like updating my journal for some reason

Anyways, this month has been fun, I have about eighty million wip things sitting around that I'd like to finish before I move. I have this "done" stone draft, a random ceramic horse, a bunch of unpainted sculptures, and resin rejects.

But, I've been doing a few commissions which has been really cool. After elementis I'm doing another hippocampus, this one is more seahorse like, with lots of fins and spikes and things sticking out all over. It's sort of halfway through being painted, I'm excited to finish it

Then I'm doing a centaur and a mermaid after that... it's cool to do something different! Those are still hardly even started so might not be up particularly soon.

I have a lipizzan ish sculpture and a random my little pony custom that have sculpted tack with jewels in it, and I'm going to do chain on the lippy so I'm hoping it looks nice. I have all these random findings, like little charms, chains, pendants, earring, etc that I buy randomly at thrift stores and I never do anything with them sooooo I'm trying that

A while ago I got some my little pony g1 baits that have been sitting around, I didn't really have any ideas for them. BUT I got an awesome idea (last night at like 3am when I had an early test today, of course lol) so now I've started those too. There's 3 skydancers (the pegasus that's leaping up with an open mouth) and 1 lil pocket (thats the one I did with the jewels).

Anyways I have some totally random pictures so yay

I got lots of ponies for my birthday so spent like 85 hours rearranging my shelves

Ehh that's it. I feel unproductive since I've been uploading scraps but very few deviations
