News and Fun Happenings

I'm sorry art has been slow/ non existent. I've kept my job and started back school which has been somewhat time consuming. The good thing is that I have some money saved, and school is going better than last year by far.

I do have a few sculptures in the works. As well, I took opulence off etsy and am giving her a make over. A good majority of the sculptures I had listed have been sold or traded, which makes me happy. Of course I have lots of ideas for new sculptures and haven't done a whole lot about it.

Anyways, I think I mentioned this, but I am going to the breeder's cup this year. It's in Louisville at churchill downs. I have been to kentucky a few times but always in the summer. November is really a different time, and with the breeder's cup it's going to be madness. Aside from the cup, there are farm open houses, and of course- sales. I opened a photo account a while back; ~quequinox for racing pictures but I never go to the racetrack so it is somewhat dead. But, hopefully it shall explode with life at the beginning of november.

I just plan on stalking famous horses, taking tons and tons of pictures, and buying lots of junk. Also I am quite sure there will be a stop over in columbus to visit the gigantic blick store and buy some art stuff, which is always fun.

I took 3/5 classes online this semester just because of this trip, and although I don't have tests or anything while away I'll still have a lot of work to do before and after to compensate. With that and working there isn't a lot of time for art, but stuff is still progressing.

My courses this year are pretty good. I have a gigantic statistics/ lab course which seems alright so far. And then I am taking psychology of social influence, which is quite hilarious. And my 3 online classes are: anatomy, philosphy/ critical thinking, and a general writing course. So one class of memorizing stuff, and two essay courses.

Anyway I am sorry for being so inactive. I don't mean to be. I was thinking of asking about doing some drawing art trades? If anyone is interested I need something to work on. So if you want to do a drawing trade just send me a note :)

thanks, I hope everyone is doing well.

Hey, how much does it cost to get in? I'll probably go, too, if I have the cash. I live in Kentucky =)

the two tickets for both days ended up being around $300 I think, but we got grandstand. General admissions are cheaper. And it depends if you go for both days or just one :)
