Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

christmas, still doing cheap commissions

News and Fun Happenings

Firstly, I am still offering digital commissions for $10 USD. You can pay with paypal or we can work something else out. Please note me if interested! I will stop offering these january 10th since that's when I go back to school.

Christmas has been good so far. I got godzilla for ps2 so me and my brother, sister, and mom were all playing that all day on christmas. Mom made a whole ton of food, and I dressed up all the cats with tinsel and little red coats!

I gave my mom that El Prado's Legacy drawing in a huge matted frame, and she liked it. I got my brother a sub for runescape and got my sister some movies. I got a bunch of cool stuff too, mostly dvds and books. Now I have lots to read and watch! I also got the 2009 holiday horse by breyer, who is totally gorgeous.

I've been doing lots and lots of sculpting. I made a feather dragon, a unicorn, a phoenix bird guy, a squid, and am currently working on a hippocampus (sea horse). It's both good and bad to have my brother around while making stuff, he has some weird advice lol. I also did a few digital things that I've now posted, and should hopefully do a few more.

Some not so good things, we got rid of Poof (our cat) and we were going to get rid of Beeb as well but my brother wouldn't let us. We have 3 unfixed cats running around and that's just not good. Poof found a really awesome home, but it was still hard to let him go. My mom can't afford to fix her cats and has way too many >.> and yesterday we went to my gramma's house for dinner, which was a bit of a drive, and on the way back my mom's hardy little old car finally huffed it's last breath. It just died. We did manage to pull off the hiway to a gas station, further proof of how much of a fighter this car is. It's a '94 chevy lumina she got for $400 a year ago, and she's been to kingston like 10 times (a 4 hour drive each way, on the hiway) and had an accident in it where the bumper got very dented. Poor old car

I've got a lot of plans for the rest of the holiday, mostly visiting friends and such. I should have lots of sculptures done soon though!
