How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

News and Fun Happenings

Honoured and Reprise are on ebay, still fairly low prices, and they end tomorrow night, so check it out if you're interested

I can't believe how fast the last few weeks went by. My last exam is on monday. I should be studying now but I don't want to

They've been going alright so far. Chem was the grossest one, though many disagree. Bio and math were difficult but pretty much how I expected. Psyc was alright as well. Now...physics! Oh no.

And now first year is pretty much over! It went by really fast. Now I have to choose a program for next year...and find a job. Program will depend on my grades, which I likely won't have back. I'm deciding between psychology, life science (pretty much physiology type things) or biology. Lifesci and bio are sort of dead ended in many ways, but psyc seems like such a drastic switch over. I don't know. I will worry about that on tuesday

As for a job... dunno about that either. There's tons of opportunity here though. I've never worked retail so I don't even mind doing that. (yet. I'm sure I'll whine a lot come time to actually do retail.)

So art is at a dead stand still right now...or at least it seems that way. Once may gets here and the moving is all done and I have no stupid studying to do, then I'll get lots done. I have new clay ready to go as well

I have a gigantic list of things I want to draw/ sculpt. I also want to drive over to the states and go shopping at some craft stores

I haven't been to the states in almost a year, thats pretty sad.

and finally, in this completely random post... I think I'm gonna bring my doggie to live with me in the summer. I'm going to be alone or close to it, so it'll be less scary. Even though roxy isn't exactly protective, lol.

I'll probably update before then, but our house won't have internet for the first bit, until we get that all fixed up. But hopefully I shall decorate the place nicely (more wall space there!) and take pictures.

FI you're bored of drawing horses you could laways do one of my deer characters. i haven't got any reference pictures of them up at the moment, however they are easy enough to draw. Choose which ever one you prefer.
Amaranth: Reindeer, female, whitish. Antlers bedecked with flowers
Amadeus: Red deer, male. Birds perched in his antlers, alone with some moss.
Amerawdwr: White tailed deer, male. Antlers bedecked with butterfliies

ah I could do that. If you're drawing 2 characters I could do two as well. Is the reindeer one's coat white? and her antlers are brown?

I'd probably draw the flower/ butterfly ones I think, those sound like awesome characters!

The reindeer isn't totally white, but she has more white on her than a normal reindeer, around the belly, hindquarters, chest, neck and face area. Her antlers are brown.

I came up with the deer with the birds on hsi antlers during an English lesson almost a year ago, then I came up with the other two more recently. For soem reason I decided they all needed names beginning with 'Am': Amadeus like Amadeus Wolfgang Mozart(birds=music), Amaranth like the flowers, and Amerawdwr meaning 'Emperor'.

There was also a Sika deer who was the deer of decay, named Amelet (meaning immortal) and a Chinese Water deer that was a lot like the forest spirit from '

rincess Mononoke', though I couldn't think of an Am name for it.
