Hi everyone!
I am going to do a livestream tomorrow (May 19) at 3pm EST. I will update this journal when it's live. I'm going to be glueing hair on two sculptures (a kirin and a unicorn) and might do some armatures or something at the end if there's time. Feel free to join and ask questions and chat! My channel is
[link]I've been working on art steadily for the last few weeks. I have several commissions to work on and am still working to create stock for the Artfest show. My goal is to have around 20 sculptures for Artfest, but I'm not sure I'll reach that. Including the two I am hairing tomorrow, I have 7 done. I'm likely doing to be doing some smaller, simpler stuff to bring as well.
In addition to sculpture I've also taken up volunteering at the hospital in town. I do a few hours each day 3 days a week. So far it's been really interesting, and it's a good way to get myself out of the house and more active. It's also good to talk to people who work at the hospital; since I graduated I've been really debating on what I want to do with my life and talking with people in the field gives me more insight on what I can become, and what I need to take to get there. I did well in school overall but not well enough to apply for clinical psyc or med school or anything like that I don't think. People keep telling me to move to the States because it's easier to get in, but I don't think I'll be doing that
So, there's lots to think about in between sculpting stuff.
