News and Fun Happenings

:star: Complacence is on ebay, the link is below :) :star:

I am now back at home. That was a nice 2 week vacation. I was at my friend's house for a lot of it, and managed to see a bunch of other friends too that I hardly see now that I live away. I also went home to my mom's for my sister's graduation and took pictures which was good. I helped my mom pack since her arms are all gimpy for some reason, and they're moving either today or tomorrow to an apartment.

I had to bring a ton of my stuff back with me since mom doesn't have room for it. I FINALLY got my desk, though I had to take it apart and put it back together which was annoying. I set up my glass fish and a bunch of other things, my room looks so much nicer now.

I've finished my picture of Zenyatta, but amongst the boxes and things in my old room I found tons of old programs, magazines, etc. and felt very inspired after looking through everything. So now I want to do more horsie pictures. I've started one of Purge, and as you can see from my poll, I have a ton of others I want to do at some point. If you've got any suggestions for horses, comment away :D Most of the ones I'm thinking are active racers from 2004-2006, but who knows.

Now, when I came back from home I had a whole buttload of mail. I had a resin sculpt, 5 or 6 drawings, some ebay purchases, and some other bills and junk. So I figured I would do a feature of some awesome things I've gotten lately through trades and such :D Have a look, and give these guys some love

I've been friends with *Almalphia for a long time, and it was so nice to do this trade. This picture looks about a billion times better in real life, I love it :)

These 3 were done for me as a trade for a sculpture. ~pegacorna2 did such a great job, I really loved the idea of a 2 part painting. I can't wait to hang them up!

This was also a trade for a sculpture with ~hakuron. I got the originals in the mail and they are just soooo well done. I'll end up saying this about every picture, but drawings look so much better in person. :)

This was also a trade, of sonnet and lyric! by !Ambersilver I always love seeing pictures of them :D

~CrimsonCaveDragon is such an awesome person. The middle image is for a trade, but the other 2 were just random gifts! And of characters from my story too, which is even more awesome! She's drawn my characters so many times, and each time they just get more beautiful!

This was a purchase from *SovaeArt. I got it today, and just...wow. She sells casted resins of all kinds, and some of them start at just $40. If you haven't seen her gallery yet, totally go see it right now :XD:

Finally, this is a commissioned painting by !mondeis. Her gallery is simply amazing, I love it all! We're also doing a trade in traditional, which I'm very excited for! Her digital and traditional stuff is great, go have a lookie :D

I also got a beautiful drawing from ~kankakanka of sonnet and lyric which is on my wall in my room right now. She hasn't uploaded it to DA yet, but that's another awesome gallery to check out if you haven't yet :)

for drawing ones? I'm not at the moment, I haven't been very inspired to draw lately which is why. I could make an exception I guess, but it might take a while to get done is all.
