First off, let me just mention that every entry was really unique and well thought out. There was such a lovely variety of themes and interpretations, which made judging really hard.
I want everyone to keep in mind that there were a total of 37 entries and only 3 winners, so dont be disappointed if you didnt place. A lot of entries were one or two points off from getting a placing.
About the judging:
I judged 4 categories and scored each out of 10.

AP: Accuracy of the characters Personality

In this section I went by how well you followed their known personalities. In some cases people took the character and made them do something completely different than they normally would, which went along with their theme. In some of these one or two points may have been deducted, but in general if it went with the theme it wasnt penalized.

AM: Accuracy of characters Markings

This section went by how well you followed the references. Most people got high scores here.

CW: Creativity of the Word

This section judged the basic idea you had for the image. Most people got low scores here, so this category generally separates the men from the boys so to speak. I took points off for taking the word in just its literal form and not thinking of deeper meanings. Different words were judged differently, since some words may have been harder or easier to be creative with.

IR: Interpretation of the Word

This section is based on how you portrayed your theme in your entry. Quite a few people had low scores in creativity and high scores here, depending on how well they chose to illustrate their word. A somewhat static theme like Immortal means they cant die could have high IR scores if they showed the impossibility of death in a very interesting way.

So altogether there were scores out of 40. Judging had nothing to do with technical skill, and there was no bias on which character or word choice won. With that, the results...

The idea and use of the word is very unique; imaginary is (ironically) a hard word to really be creative with, and I think you did so in a very effective way. It was almost brazen of you to add wings to her, but the idea works very well with the chosen word. The rainbows and sparkles all add to a very lovely picture. Aeos markings are a little off, which works fine with the image anyways. She is supposed to have white back legs and blue highlights, blue under the appaloosa pattern, and no cloven hooves. Total: 36

Aeo is perfect, from her markings to the TWH features, including her stance. I like how her cloud band is being blown off in a way, very well done. Drawing her alone for solitude is somewhat basic, although it works well here. The interpretation mark is high because the vast background and high peak she stands on really illustrate the theme and make her look very isolated. Total: 37

I loved this idea. Serenity is very shy, and this is evident in the image here(especially in the second Polaroid, he looks very scared). He looks a bit too stocky in the first image which is why one point was lost on marking accuracy, and he seems very happy in all of this so one point is off for personality, but still a high score so dont worry too much. The word useage part of judging was where most people lost points and this entry got perfect on both, which is a very remarkable feat. Imaginary is a hard word to be creative with, but it was done very well here. Really creative to use imaginary as imaginary friends, and thats where the score for creativity came from. Also, using the cute Polaroids really conveyed the theme well, and got you the high score in interpretation. Total: 38

CreatTheCrowAside from these, there were 5 other entries that got scores of 34, and 13 others who had over 30. As you can see, judging was hard and all of the entries were done very well! Congrats to everyone.

Winners:

Please do the following:

-note me with what you want for your prizes. This includes the prizes done by other people (since I will then forward your request to them).
-I need your sculpture requests in quickly. I need to make them while Im at home, since I go back to school on Monday and there is no oven there. If you dont give your request now, you wait until may 1st for me to do your prize. I dont want to wait that long.

A final note to all entrants:

I scored every single entry exactly like the winners, with points for each category and comments. If you would like yours sent to you, I can do that, just send me a note. However, please, realize that the comments are notes for myself and are very blunt. If you think you might get offended, please do not request your scores. I dont want hurt feelings. After you get your scores, if you would like any clarification on why points were lost or tips on how to improve for next time, feel free to ask, but of course without attitude or rudeness. You have to understand that there were lots of entries and I cannot do prizes for everyone.
You picked good winners
Congrats everyone!
and kinda dissapointed in myself too but still I think I did a good job. I'm proud of the drawing I made. It's one of my best ^^ second off all I guess this was meant on me no?
A somewhat static theme like Immortal means they cant die could have high IR scores if they showed the impossibility of death in a very interesting way.
