For the contest, you will be drawing my characters based on one of ten words. From the list of words, you choose one and it will be the title of your entry. The 10 titles are all very open words, so I want you to be creative. However, you will be judged on relevance, so if the title has little to do with your entry then it won’t fare as well. So...create a scene involving my characters that relates to one of the words. The list of words as well as references for my characters are below.

entries can have one or more of my characters
you may draw your characters in if you want, but at least one of mine must be there
my characters must be drawn properly, or at least close to it. Obvious errors will greatly reduce your chance of winning
in the description, it must be stated that the piece was done for my contest, and mention how the piece relates to the title
the title on the deviation you enter must be one of the titles listed below. The relevance of the title to the entry will be judged, so be creative!
the entries must be entirely your own, NO using other people’s line art, and if using stock, credit must be given.

The deadline is now February 12th, 2009. This will NOT be changing again, so I hope everyone can make it. If the deadline comes and you're still working, just send me a note or comment and we'll work it out.

Judging is based on creativity, and how well you interpreted the word you chose. Also, it will be based on how accurately you portrayed my characters, not only with their markings, but their personalities as well. Although some words might seem like they fit a certain character better, no combination is more favorable than another.

A large (7 inch tall) equine sculpture done to your specifications.
A fully colored traditional drawing with background of up to 2 characters, 9x12 inch size. (equine only)
a medium (5 inch tall) size unpainted horse sculpture, done in the pose of your choice, for you to finish. (I can send some hair if you want.)

-Lhorvetta: black thoroughbred mare; dead ghost who wears fancy tack
-Shadow: grim reaper who takes the form of a young blonde woman. She wears a black long sleeved shirt with hood, skirt, no shoes.
