Odin by scenceable Odin by scenceable
Odin is a OOAK (one of a kind) handmade sculpture. He was made from polymer clay over wire and foil. He is a fjord pony unicorn. He has brown resin eyes and tibetan lamb fur hair.

Odin was really fun and challenging to make. Square type poses are always harder because anatomy flaws are so much more obvious, but I think he turned out well. If I have to be honest, I think a fjord would have a longer face and back, but I like him nonetheless.

He took about 6+ hours to paint, most of which was repainting the body to be a good dun colour. I love his face, as you can probably tell by the masses of face photos I have uploaded.

Odin is about 8 inches tall to the tip of his horn. He was a commission/ trade from someone on another forum (same person who commissioned Storm)

Looks great! I love fjords ^^
as a photography tip, i'd try placing the model outside someplace where there's some moss and/or stones. It would add to the fantasy feel :)

Thank you! I no longer have this guy so can't do that, but I've been trying to do outdoor photos with my more recent sculptures :)

This is a great sculpture. I'm don't want to overload your message box so I won't comment on every picture you uploaded of Odin. :B This is really wonderful. I had a small plastic horse toy when I was young that was similar to this, but it wasn't anywhere NEAR as realistic or detailed. Beautiful!

Thanks a lot! When I was little all I wanted for years was the fjord breyer, still don't have it though. This one was a lot of fun to make.

Thank you! I've been making them bigger and bigger over time, I have bad eye sight so can't make them too small anymore. :)
