This is for ~LiLBlueHorse516's contest for putting your character in a music video.

Obviously I would choose Evanescence I was going to do a funnier picture with either Call me when You're Sober or Everybody's Fool, but I was in the mood to do something pretty.

So here is amy lee Illyria. The picture is from Evanescence's video My Immortal, a song that I really did not like at all until this year. (no idea why) I do absolutely love the video though, as you may have gathered. (I like the Good Enough one more though)

I reffed most of the background from :55 second mark in the video, and the fountain from another part. It's very hard to properly ref a blurry pixelly youtube video though, so its nowhere near exact.

I was going to put Illy in a dress but I thought the floofy hair and tourniquets would suffice.

Anyways, this took about 4 hours (and a lot of white pencil crayon) and was done with polychromos and prismacolors on 14x17 inch paper
