I fail at names once again. I cannot get AP english lit out of mah head!
he's 7.5 inches tall to the tip of his horn. He is made from scratch from super sculpey, superflex, and apoxie sculpt. His hair is viscose, and is glued on. His eyes are resin. He is painted with acrylics, and accented with pearl ex powder, gold glitter, shimmery paint, and clear nail polish so he is very sparkly!
His tail is fully poseable. You can see what I mean in the angles shots.
I think I improved a lot with this one. I did the shoulder muscles and front of him a lot better than I have been, so that's good. His back legs look weird, but they were reconstructed like 6 times, so that's why.
It took me a long time to finish him. First of all, I made the armature with one type of wire, but then I bought better wire so wanted to make his legs out of that. When trying to put the new wire in, it bent suddenly, and I cut my finger open. Actually, no, the wire stabbed THROUGH my finger, and when I pulled it out it bled provusely. yay.
then after his completion, I was baking him, and he fell in the oven so baked with one of his legs sideways. So I had to fix that, by breaking it and remaking it. Then he didn't want to stand up properly. GAH! so I remade and recarved his feet several times.
But he's fine now.
Anyhow, hope you enjoyed reading that, lol.
angles are here! for eye detail, tail poseablility, etc [link]
I have bleed many a time for my art to....I really like the way you did the tail on him

Oh dear.....What a hassle! But he turned out so well in spite of all of that, and yes...you are getting better, and better still! You must have used that Sculpey Flex for his tail to make it pose able. If so, How is it to work with? Do you like it? I want to incorporate it in my sculpts, but I am waiting until it is available in larger bulk sizes. I am sorry 'bout your finger! OUCH! I use nitrile coated gloves when I work with the wire. They are thin enough not hinder movement, but strong enough to protect. You can get them anywhere there are garden supplies.

We are not primarily put upon this earth to see through one another, but to see one another through!
