Ayalah

Ayalah is a ooak (one of a kind) polymer clay pegasus sculpture. She is quite large, with an 8 inch boy length (traditional breyer size). She was made from polymer clay over wire an foil, painted in acrylics and given a mohair mane and tail.

Ayalah was a commission, based on a character. She has inset green eyes, celtic knotwork on her wings, breast plate, and girth, and a few facial scars. Her breast collar has 3 inset jewels.

Ayalah was a different experience for me, with the larger size, the sculpted wings, and the knotwork. She took a long time but I like how she turned out!
