The structure and pose of your equine subject is beautifully done, and I don't have the cred to start critiqueing anatomy. I think you might want to double check your perspective in the future though - something is off about the angle of the horse's body in relation to the far wing. It looks like it's folded back, while the wing in the foreground is stretched.
Nice job with the feathers and tassels! I think my only beef with the costume in general is that your horse is moving really fast - shouldn't that forward motion be putting more wind drag on the tassels, and the shawl of the person on its back? They're going up, but the way the body is positioned makes it look like they're going forward as well.
The background isn't bad, but next time I'd suggest working in smaller areas at a time and using smaller strokes to create more detail. The sand and sky looks like you got a bit impatient with it and hurried - but that could also be the medium. I do like that you blended colors in the sky.
Overall, beautiful piece!
One thing that sticks out to me is how the two bushes in the back are on the same "plane." They look very close to each other and equal distance from the viewer. If one was pushed back farther, or more were added in the very back of the dune, it would create a better feeling of depth.
The horse doesn't have a lot to critique, to be honest!
The mountains are great (I love the bit of brown you added in- it makes it interesting!) The only thing I see with them is how the big one kind of "dies off" onto the side of the paper. If there was more variation in the shading, or another smaller mountain was beside it, you could "bump up" that area.
Excellent blur on the wings! And for colored pencil? Wow! I can never get it smudgy enough.
